Thank you to the Gueydan community for coming together and supporting our inaugural Spring Market! It was a beautiful day filled with fun and fellowship, and it means the world to our students, teachers, and school that we got to share it with you.
Special thanks to Mrs. Cynthia Wirtz, Mrs. Rena Bertrand, the GHS FCCLA Club, and the GHS FFA Club and Ag Department for putting the event together, and for all our vendors who participated. See you next spring!
Registration is now open for 2026 VPSS Summer Meal Boxes. All children, ages 0-18, are eligible to receive boxes, whether they are a student at a Vermilion Parish school or not.
FACS I students practiced their knife and cutting skills for the first time! They made fresh guacamole and salsa and did a phenomenal job! They definitely enjoyed tasting it afterwards also.
If you signed up for trees from Neighborhood Forest in March, they have arrived and are ready for pick up! They are Laurel Oaks, and they're going to be beautiful!

Congratulations to all our student athletes who competed at last night's Middle and High School Parish Track Meets. Special shout out to Braylon Mercier, who placed 1st in the 300m hurdles, 2nd in the 100m dash, and 3rd in the 200m dash!
