Congratulations to our Senior Class Officers: Heather Fontenot, Grace Braus, Kenzie Touchet, and Jace Trahan

Last night, the Vermilion Parish School Board recognized the new school leaders in the parish, including our very own Ms. Malinda Roy! Congratulations!

Mrs. Sheri's Fine Arts students were given 1/2 of a self-portrait and asked to complete the missing side using their drawing skills. These skills will be reassessed at the end of the year.

Today, our Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors met to elect class officers and class favorites for the new school year. Mrs. Nadine met with all our high school students to talk about our expectations for the year. She stressed the importance of staying on top of our grades and maintaining good attendance!

Band shirt orders/payments are due by Friday! All band students must turn one in.

The online store to pay fees is closing tonight at midnight. It will reopen Thursday after we hold orientations this week.

Congratulations to our new Assistant Principal, Ms. Malinda Roy! She's not new to GHS, having served here as both Counselor and Student Services Specialist, but Ms. Malinda will be bringing her expertise into the front office next year. We are so excited to have her in her new role, and look forward to a great 2024-25 school year!

Congratulations to our Beta students! Jolie Trahan took 3rd place in Apparel Design, and the team of Ethan Vincent, Isaac Walton, Layne Porter, Christopher Benoit, and Blaise Hebert placed 8th in Collaboration Connection at National Beta Convention!

Good luck to our students as they compete at National Beta Convention in Savannah, Georgia!
